Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 6, 2026
Datum24 is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Measures Taken
We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility of this website:
- Semantic HTML: We use proper heading structure, landmarks, and ARIA attributes to ensure assistive technologies can navigate the site effectively.
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
- Skip navigation: A "Skip to main content" link is provided for keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation.
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Motion sensitivity: Animations and transitions are disabled when the user has enabled "Reduce motion" in their operating system preferences.
- Responsive design: The site is fully usable across screen sizes, with an accessible mobile navigation menu.
- Decorative elements: Purely decorative graphics and custom cursor elements are hidden from screen readers using aria-hidden.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some areas may have limitations:
- Terminal/code display sections use color coding for visual emphasis; the underlying information is still available as text content.
- Some SVG icon elements within feature descriptions are decorative and supplement adjacent text labels.
We are actively working to identify and resolve any remaining accessibility issues.
